What can I expect during my appointment?

The fabrication of your custom orthotic is a 2-step process. During the first appointment we will assess your foot and gait pattern. We will discuss any areas of pain you may have and take the measurements we need to build your custom orthotic. We will also discuss what shoes the insoles will go into so it's important to bring the shoes you are hoping to use with you.

The second appointment will be scheduled the week following your measurement. During this appointment we will fit the orthotic to your shoe. Remember to bring your shoes with you.

What should I bring to my appointment?

Your shoes!

When selecting shoes your orthotic look for one with a removable insole. This allows the orthotic to sit deeper in the shoe and gives you the most room.

If you are not sure which shoe to select during our first appointment we can help you select a shoe (one of your own or a new one).
